More about this Ozow fantastic position

As the Technical Lead, you will report to the Head of Research & Development. You need to have strong experience in programming fundamentals assisting in researching and developing, new products and modifications to existing software to improve the overall efficiencies of product offerings. You will need to lead a team of developers ranging from senior to junior, developing applications for various platforms. You’ll need to bring your skills to the table so that the team can collectively benefit from your input. To do so, you should have a track record of implementing best practices such as continuous integration, test-driven development, and continuous deployment, and demonstrated skills on team mentorship as well as successful delivery of software projects under tight deadlines.

 

As one of Ozow’s esteemed developers, you would be working in an agile environment with a contribution to the product roadmap. You will need to provide technical leadership to a team of developers focused on R&D and deliver on research commitments. The environment is entrepreneurial with a start-up culture, where everyone engages in the product development cycle.

You’ll need to bring your skills to the table so that the team can collectively benefit from your input. To do so, you should have a track record of implementing best practices such as continuous integration, test-driven development, and continuous deployment, and demonstrated skills on team mentorship as well as successful delivery of software projects under tight deadlines.

  

If you have experience in developing applications and undertaking R&D activities with a strong payments focus you will be at a definite advantage.



Your skills and experience

  • At least 5 years of work-related experience as a Software Engineer. At least 2 of those years in a Research and Development team.
  • Must have an IT Diploma or Degree.
  • Ability to develop software in C# and other programming languages (polygots preferred)
  • Proven experience in leading a team.
