More about this Ozow fantastic position

As a key member of the Sales Team, you will be required to pre-empt, manage, and administer the internal requirements of the Sales team. You will be part of a fast-paced, customer-centric, sales orientated environment that demands attention to detail and excellence.

You are an ideal candidate if:

  • Relevant degree
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of the product life-cycle, with at least 2 years of product experience in a digital or payments environment
  • Demonstrated project organisation ability for a single product or a set of products
  • Proven expert-level Excel administration allowing for the pulling of sales data from various departments and condensing for high-level sales insights to support external conversations



Your roles and responsibilities

  • Assisting the senior sales team through each step of the sales process, helping them manage all administration, operational outcomes, and key focus areas of the sales cycle; managing the Pipeline, Forecast, and Leads of the sales teams; Identifying shortcomings in the sales process and remedying based on findings.
  • Ensuring the proper administration of the CRM system (updating of contract details and other important information).
  • Managing, aging, and recycling leads – a detailed analysis of the success criteria.
  • Ideating, developing, and producing new innovative ways to present, communicate, and sell the overall Ozow value proposition.
  • Qualifying sales meetings using tools such as LinkedIn, Internal CRM systems, and lists provided by the Sales Department; facilitating and attending client events; assisting with putting together pitch decks in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Researching, fact-finding, and helping develop an in-depth understanding of prospects, leads, and pipeline clients; assisting with sales enablement research and market analysis.
  • Supporting Sales and Marketing Campaigns with data-led insights.
  • Preparing and consolidating of sales enablement content; working with the production team to prepare short videos, sales sheets, email templates, etc
  • Responding and escalating inbound partner queries.
  • Building an "insights archive" of client data for sales purposes, i.e. industry performance, client growth, and other key success metrics
  • Assisting with channel partners, distributors, dealers, and resellers

  • Highly attentive to detail. You do not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
  • Open to criticism and ideas. You often solicit feedback and react calmly to criticism or negative feedback.
  • Able to hire and develop A Players. You source, select, and sell A-Players to join a company. You coach people in their current roles to improve performance and prepare them for future roles.
  • Flexible/ adaptable. You adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions. You cope effectively with complexity and change.
  • A good communicator. You speak and write clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative.
  • Organised. You plan, organise, schedule, and budget in an efficient, productive manner. You focus on key priorities.
